Bird Sightings in Spain

Barcelona was another tour day, but the time spent in Park Guell during the tour allowed us to spot a good handful of species. Yellow-legged gulls, Rock Doves, Collared Doves, Feral Pigeons, Common Magpies, Monk Parakeets and House Sparrows were present in the park. Interestingly, the guide informed us that the pigeons and parakeets compete and sometimes squabble with one another, a recent development since the parakeets have only been around for about a decade.
